If an adventure game used artwork like the following... would you play it?
Also, which style do you prefer?

Dude, AGS games do not need to have good graphics. As long as you have a good story, and good gameplay... people will play it. Many of the early AGS games are a testiment to that fact.

I enjoy AGs even if the character is a blue box on legs aslong as it's fun (of coarse pretty graphics never hurt anyone )

That's a very nice picture, Filip.
What do you mean by suggestions, additional details? In that case I'd suggest adding a lightbulb, a round table underneath the lamp and a bookshelf on the right-hand wall, so the room won't look so empty. And if you're really ambitious, you could put a sleeping cat on one of the sofas.

Great improvement. Now, let's see, how about a light bulb (I may have mentioned that one already, actually), a framed black-and-white photograph on the left wall and a crumpled piece of paper in front of the bookshelf?
