Here's a vocal mockup of Spiral. It sort of sucks in some places, I'm not as used to the last verses, as I rewrote them last night. However, I fixed the volume problem I've had while recording, so it should be a bit easier to hear. Don't ask how I fixed it, it's pretty embarrassing, actually

The next step is to record the keyboard parts, and remix the vocals with that. Then, I think Dvoe can more effectively do his magic with it (if he's still up to it), since he'll have the basic structure and feel for the song then.

Sounds pretty good overall Taikara I thought it turned out very nice most parts, and yes thank you for fixing the volume issue had to crank up my volume each time I hear your tracks but it's a good volume now. Like the way ya sung the parts too, each fit in with the vocals nicely your style, nice job once again.

Hmm, I just listened to that old track and somehow t sounds different from what it sounded like on Friday morning.
Have you changed something or are the speakers on this computer broken? Or am I just imagining things?

Simplicity sounds better with music.

I sort of regret posting the vocals for Spiral, though, because mostly, vocals sound pretty boring without music

Hehe that's true Tai, vocals without music just aren't the same, doesn't give it that same feeling, now if I could only figure out a way to take out vocals from songs and leave the insturmental parts that would rule.

Well, that probably means the speaker settings on my laptop are wrong. Anyway, I liked Friday's version better.

well im sorry to say that i cant really do anything... dont have a mike first off... and second i just cant get a beat down for the song.

Really? I suppose it would have to be a fairly simple beat that won't go too much against the guitar, for example something like
-....-- -....-- -....-- etc. should work.
alternatively you could use something like
x.-..- x.-..- x.-..- etc
Hmm, bit difficult to represent a beat by letters; I hope that makes sense to you.

Okies, mic works, now all I need is decent software. *goes searching* Btw, Tai, I got two choises for you to choose, but in my opinion our voices match somewhat nicely, just like I thought.
