It's truer to the original boardgame. No shooter elements and turn-based gameplay.

uhm... wasn't the board game turn based? (also there are not shooter elements in the link provided, you're thinking of "Vengeance of the Blood Angels")

I assumed the HOTU link was to one of their reviews of Electronic Arts' games, sorry for the misunderstanding.

After the mess with licenses, Cease & Desist letters and failure to reach an agreement with GW and THQ (GW said they are fine as long as THQ are fine, then THQ stalled for several months before refusing), the game engine has been reworked into "Alien Assault".

Unless we run into unexpected problems, the release _should_ happen at the end of this month.

So, anyone willing to review it for AR?

Finished last fixes to the content today.
Initial release impacts in a few hours.
BRACE FOR IMPACT!!!

(sorry for that outburst, I'm just way too hyped; this was 1 and 1/2 years of my life, severe sacrifice of sleep over last few weeks and right now I'm also doped to my gills on caffeine and sugar)
