No one's stopping you from getting the game for yourself, but since it isn't freeware it won't be added to the site, and there's an end to this discussion, really.

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Pretty much ANY Infocom game
Any of Artworx Strip Poker games... and don't try and tell me in the late 80's/early 90's you never played one of these and thought it was brilliant, especially because you thought that the graphics were "so real!".

Can't think of any others of the top of my head for PC... might as well throw in most amatuer games in there though, as I am an independant enthusiast.

Console/Arcade/Other
Alex Kidd in Miracle World
Shinobi
Wonderboy/Monsterland
Phantasy Star
Space Harrier
Sonic
Mario Bros (atari)
Super Mario Bros
Tennis
Excitebike
Enduro Racer
Castlevania
Afterburner
The entire catalogue of the MB Vectrex system
The entire catalogue of the Colecovision system
Final Fantasy
Ninja Gaiden
Strider
Blood Brothers
Vendetta (an uncensored version)
Streets of Rage
Final Fight
Street Fighter
Donkey Kong
Pacman
Space Invaders
Galaga
Galaxian
Choplifter
R-Type
F-Zero
Super Fire Pro
Star Wars (the old arcade version)
Missile Command
Many of ATARIs games (minus ET, of course)
Space War
Rampage
Rampart
Legend of Zelda
Paperboy
Pong
Punch Out
Pro Wrestling
Gauntlet
Front Mission
Die Hard
Golden Axe
Fatal Fury

My mind is drawing a blank now... i'll probably add more later.

But my point is... Ecco the Dolphin is NOT a classic. It sold well, but it is in no way, a classic. Many of the games i've listed are classics. If you don't think so, or you've never even played them, then you're not a true gamer.

I remember seeing Night trap in 1992 I think and thinking that it looked awesome. I never played the game though, I was mainly impressed by the graphics. Still it's not freeware afaik so why post the request here?
