I finished it in about 30 minutes maybe less...

And I'm not even specially hard core, I'm not sure if I finished any adventure except this one without consulting a walkthrough.
The only puzzle that could have been a bit illogical was the last one, but it seemed logical to me because I thought he was a robot.

Just a note that I know of a person who finished it in 30 minutes (an experienced adventure gamer), and two in about an hour. So, some puzzles might be illogical but I really don't think the game is unfair in this aspect.

They kind of contradict each other I think.

Well, maybe not the "interact with nearly everything", but very hard puzzles in adventure game logic usually means illogical puzzles.
But she said most puzzles are logical, while some puzzles are very hard. That doesn't imply a contradiction. Besides, logical puzzles can still be hard if they're complex enough.

Uh, when it comes to the normal human brain - that overlaps. You write "some" apart from "most", if you meant that most make sense while some are illogical, then place that assessment in the same sentence, otherwise the average person will separate them into two different ideas.
It's common thought.
Besides, that's a typical adventure game, some easy, some hard. It's pacing.

You can't write both and expect it to make sense typically, especially after I've played this and it's obvious that there are more illogical puzzles than logical.

Thank you for the reply, and also thank you for making this awesome game.

Sudnji cas (pozdrav prijatelju!), you ask a lot of valid and interesting questions.

But seriously, not all places and characters in the game have to make sense. Some are there only to add depth to the world or act as decoys.

Still, to answer some of your questions:

[The flower does not destroy the robot, but Torn Gapo. You destroy the robot with an infected CD. Robot is not Torn Gapo. Torn Gapo is alive all right, before you kill him. You could consider him non-human, but who once was human. The wire is a decoy. Is serves no purpose. FBGD on the billboard is an easter egg ponting toward my FreeBASIC Games Directory website (Barren was programmed in FreeBASIC). The spinning picture of that immortal guy is the moment of him becoming immortal, lying on the ground half-dead. Torn Gapo doesn't have a banana stain on his uniform. It's a reference on one of my real life fau pas which I wouldn't like to go into details right now (don't worry, it's not vomit or boogers :max:). Frantic changes the arcade machine game screen to another game.

Well it was an interesting game... but seemed rather pointless.. what was actually achieved?

By far the most confusing ending to an adventure game I've seen.

Can someone explain to me the story of this game?

[ Who is the dude who takes you home at the end? Why did the flower destroy the robot? Is robot Torn Gapo? Isn't he dead? What is he doing in outer space? What was the point of the rocket? Or the wire, I didn't use it for anything. What is that acronym Billboard? What does it mean? Why is that guy immortal, radioactivity? Who is that hole that the undertaker dug out for? Is it me? That immortal guy? Who is the Diamond prince? What is that spinning picture that the immortal guy's story shows? Why does Torn Gapo has a banana stain on his uniform, and he's calling me a simian!? What is it with his hair? Why is he wearing a uniform? Was he always a robot? Why can't I copy Module.exe on the CD? What does FRANTIC command do? ]

She?

Gah, this will kill my bandwidth totally. I got to do something fast.

Edit: Ok, changed the main download link on the game page with the file placed on another server. Hopefully the Linux version won't be popular.

Thankyou AJ   :max:
To put it another way. there is a good mixture of puzzles.  What's so hard about that to understand?

Lachie, I'm afraid we can't use direct links - we have to link to a page, sorry.
