I recently purchased the limited edition of the Bond attaché case, which contains the 20 first official Bond films (Never Say Never Again was made by a competing company, and isn't in there). I haven't had time to watch them all again, and of the ones I've watched so far, I've seen most before, but not all (and most of the ones I've seen before, I didn't remember too well).

Anyway, I was wondering who your favourite Bond is, and why? Most people tend to say Sean Connery in my experience, but I think I'll go with Roger Moore myself. He just seems to be a bit more easy-going than Sean Connery, and his Bond reminds me a lot of Brett Sinclair from The Persuaders.

I must say that after rewatching On Her Majesty's Secret Service, I also quite like George Lazenby's portrayal of Bond. It's too bad that he decided against making more Bond films, but then again if he had Roger Moore might have never gotten the chance. :ok:

As for best Bond film, I have to go with Goldfinger followed by On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Goldfinger is the archetype of a Bond film in my opinion. It has an evil supervillain with a brilliant plot and a cool henchman, and Connery is brilliant in it. I like the other one for several reasons: the locations (I tend to love movies that are set in the alps :wall:), George Lazenby, and most of all the twist at the end.

Anyway, what do you guys think?
Furthermore, it is my opinion that Carthage must be destroyed.

What about Bond themes? I'm not really a fan of the films themselves, but I liked the theme Garbage did a few years ago, and I didn't mind Madonna's one recently, even if everyone else seemed to hate it. On Her Majesty's Secret Service by the Propellerheads is a wonderful track too :ok:

It's been awhile since seen the old bond films with Connery and Moore, really should pick up those Bond box sets, if they weren't so pricey 70-80 bucks, got to save some cash for those. Really can comment on Brosnan era, and have to say Goldeneye was his best movie, and probably Die Another Day was his worst, just some of what happened in that one, really seemed very unbond like, and the Madonna theme song *shudders*

As for Bond themes I think I'd have to go with Duran Duran's A View To A Kill.

Actor: This is H A R D. Moore, Connery, Brosnan... They all have their advantages, but I think I go with the flow and say Connery.

Movie: This is H A R D E R. There's not such thing as a bad Bond movie. And I never remember the names. But today I pick Dr. No (ah, Ursula :ok:).

Bond girl: Ursula Andress, queen of them all, however Berry and Scorupco are clear second and third - don't ask in which order.

Theme: Garbage or Tina Turner - hard choice.

Sean Connery for the best Bond, but my fave film is the the new Casino Royale.

As far as girls go - Eva Green. Mmmm...

Theme - Diamonds are Forever.

Okay, I just finished watching The Spy Who Loved Me and I must say that Barbara Bach is hotter than Berry or Scorupco. In many ways I found TSWLM very entertaining - possibly because I hadn't seen it in a while. As I said, there is no such thing as a bad Bond movie... :P

I'd say Daniel Craig, probably because his character was the only one that was structured realistically to the profession, all the others were wusses, complete and total wusses.

Connery is cool otherwise, but they made him so wimpy in these movies. It seemed half the time he was getting beaten up or just got lucky in a fight, also, his aim was absolutely terrible. I dunno, Roger Moore was just kinda wuss in general, and Pierce Brosnan was a little tard, and I won't even mention that one dude that played Bond only for like, one film, but Sean was just made to be a loser from the way they directed the film with him in it.
But that's part of it, they could've at least made him a bit more tough, but it just seemed so bad.

Connery or Roger Moore. No idea about the film, maybe Golden Eye or something.
