What would anyone achieve by doing this? It sound like some cult that brainwashing people into believing that they'll reach some kind of Nirvana if they just blow themselves up.

They're not brainwashing people and nobody blew themself up. They were dummy blasts, but that's a bad taste in joke, really.

Yikes another blast in 2 weeks though, sad to see it happen again though, probably to create more fear within the populus.

Yeah no kidding that's for sure and heard about another one today where they shot a suspect and caught another one at two different stations, heh they are still trying to make an impact, yikes.
