So you've found a nifty freeware game you think we'd like to feature? Great! Before you go hitting that "New Topic" button, though, there's a few things you should check:
  • Is it freeware? Fairly obvious, that, but we do get the odd request for abandonware games and ones which have slightly confusing status but turn out not to be free, so it can be worth checking, especially with games which have had a commercial release.
  • Is it already on the list? This is the biggy - please check the Games We'd Like To See On The Site list to see if the game's already there - if so, we're way ahead of you :)
  • Is it already on the site? Again, might sound daft, but it has happened before.
  • Has it already been requested? Please use the Search button to check this subforum and see if the game's already been requested - there's no need for a duplicate thread.
  • Lastly, Would I like to review it? There's little chance of it being added without a review and screenshots - if you think it's worth recommending then perhaps you'd like to provide them yourself. If not, don't hesitate to post a request, though - someone else is likely to want to review it.
Cheers!
