If I got a quarter each time I had one of those "paying for posting, paying for breathing, paying for drinking, paying for eating" I would probably have PS3 now.

You'd have enough money to buy a time machine and travel forward in time and buy the PS3?

Well, I could use that as well, but I could pre-order it maybe.

Seems like some sort of catch all this, money for posting, and 1000 posts just to get 20 bucks, even if that was so, that's like nothing for such an effort.

It's still tempting and may raise the forum popularity significantly. If there're few good debates or otherwise nice threads, you can easily reach hundreds of posts in no time, especially if you keep them short. But the benefit you gain is, as said, insignificant. Let's say you post 50 posts per day (I've reached those numbers here once), it would take 20 days to gain 20$. Dollar a day. Perhaps they hope that people are greedy and/or that people don't think too much.

There is pay for post agency, but it pays you to advertise products, in a subtle manner, you basically become "known" in the community and post like everybody else but always use the opportunity to advertise products...
Anyone one of us might be doing this :ok:

DakaSha:if you go into a kindergarden and give all the kids rubber schlongs they will prob just hit each other over the head with them
DakaSha:and you have a class of little kids hitting eachother with rubber dongs which must be quite funny (also Picklweasel knight I am)

There's probably a catch and to put that effort into posting so much for such little cash if it's even true, seems strange and like why for 20 bucks yeah great amount of advertising cash, not.

It would be great if you would post your commercials on every forum in the world. Money wouldn't be that high, but anyway....

Hmm, would you mind if I removed the link from your first post? It sounds a bit fishy, so I don't think we should be giving them extra hits unless we know for sure there's no scam involved.

I don't think it is scam, and JimmyJ is not a fresh spam-making account, he is a very valid member.

It's not a scam, but on the other hand, it is not worth mentioning.
