Dream Theater has some excellent covers, and Sonata does well compared to many other similar bands (with the covers, that is, I'm not a big fan of their music)
What is it about a beautiful sunny afternoon, with the birds singing and the wind rustling through the leaves, that makes you want to get drunk?

Anyways back to some more covers, gotta go cliche again but this cover never came up and it's a personal fav from Iced Earth, trying to think up some metal covers not so cliche.

I'd say that one fitted the cliche mould pretty well actually
The Anathema cover I posted on the first page is lovely and cliche-free, and they're a (fantastic) metal band

*Bows* Thank you Thank you I meant to find the Iced Earth ones for a cliche one.
Anyways Devin Townsend has a bunch of covers that definitely doesn't fit the metal stereotype, here's one of my favs.

Have you ever heard them DD? I reckon they'd be right up your street. Probably best start with something like Alternative 4, good balance of their earlier heavy stuff and the newer more chilled stuff.

I've heard of them. But haven't checked them out yet, but have heard good things about them from some of the boards I visit. I'll definitely check them out.

Technically since I didn't post a cd cover last post this allows me to do so even if it's a double mwhaha, yeah that's right.
Anyways this cover I don't know what about it, but it's interesting when I see it, something who knows, here it is.
