Must add into that joining military thing that true, it's not only for patriots. Many who don't have job enlists just for the food, home, security and pay. Yes security. Until you enter battlefield, your personal security is far higher than on the streets. And actually you wrote quite patriotically, Tai, here:

And I strongly agree. Don't live in false sense of security. We are not alone with our friends. Some people consider me as an enemy, even though he/she has never met me, doesn't know me and doesn't even care. I just represent western world, the evil in his/her eyes. And it doesn't matter that I actually agree in some things with him/her. I also didn't mean to mark USA as something that I disagree with. It's just most known and powerful and therefore easy to choose as an example. More I disagree with Russia, every dictatorship country, every badly corrupted country, etc. USA happens to be on our side and I honor it. And as Tai mentioned, I believe that not all US politicians are evil and stupid. Or so I've understood. But everybody should remember: Where's power, there's corruption and the will needed to resist misusing great power is beyond most of us.
