If that freeware site is hosting the game, I don't see why we can't, especially since it's running on the freedoom wad.

I can provide a reworked archive download, review, and screenshots if you want...

Hey Spidol.  While I appreciate your enthusiasm, we do require further information on this.


1.  We don't accept modified\reworked downloads, so we would require the original unmodified file (with any extra software needed to make it run, dealt with seperately).  However, Doom itself is not freeware.  Is this a remake, or does it use files from the original game?

2.   Could you provide more information about Freedom.wad?  Is it stable?  Is it in a complete, usuable state?

DOOM 64 Absolution is a remake. All the levels were redone from scratch. The only thing it borrows is the graphics and sound from DOOM 64. Even though the page I linked to says it requires DOOM2.WAD, it CAN run on the freedoom wad instead of DOOM2.WAD. I tried it, no problems.

The freedoom wad was made by DOOM fans and is completely freeware:
