.... *The music on stage get's deeper, and more suspenseful*

Frodo, on your last game, you left with 1,000. Failing to reach the milestone. But now, on your rematch, you did reach it. And you did well... Only using one lifeline.

Frodo, there are 256 levels in Pac-man...

*The crowd moans*

But... an avid player knows, that the final level #256, is a glitch level. It is unplayable. So, there are... 255 playable levels!

You are correct! You are now guaranteed 50,000!! :D

Now, onto the next question. ;)

Question 8:
For 75,000:

In 1983, Atari dumped thousands of video game cartridges, allegedly including a large number of copies of its video game adaptation E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, into a landfill. Where was the landfill?

• A: Mexico • B: Cuba
• C: Arizona     l • D: New Mexico

*lets out a huge sigh of relief*
Yippee!!!   :D

You got me worried for a moment, saying there are 256 levels.  But then you went on to say Lever 256 is unplayable due to a glitch, so there is only 255 playable levels.  That's what threw me at first.  I thought the game went on forever, hehe.

Anyway, I got it right.   ;)

Now, about burying the game cartridges - I remember reading about that in Retro Gamer a few months ago.
I believe it was in New Mexico.   :Brain:

You were correct, I didn't know about Joey Tempest.

....

And your correct again! 8 is the right answer!

And now, the final question before the million dollar question is coming. But I will now warn you, that your "Skip" lifeline, has been voided, since you made it to this point in the game. You now only have one more lifeline, "Ask a Friend".

Good luck.

Frodo, who would you like to ask? This person will be requested to post here in the thread.
