Okay, I've never done this before, so I'm not sure how well it will work.  



BACKGROUND STORY
You have mysteriously received a High School Reunion invitation, inviting you to a 10-year anniversary party in an old abandoned mansion this weekend.  You haven't seen your old schoolmates for 10 years, so it might be interesting to catch up with them again.  The strange thing is, the invitation isn't signed - you have no idea who sent it.  Still, you decide to go along anyway, and see what the old crowd is up to these days.  You even begin to look forward to it!  



THE GAME
This is basically a Murder Mystery type game.  Guests will gradually be found brutally murdered, or go missing.  If you are found dead \ dying \ declared missing, you may say a few final words \ leave a note to be found if you wish.  After that, you cannot post anymore.  The game will continue until all the guests are dead or the murderer has been found and motive discovered.

You can make up a character to attend this High School Reunion party.  As far as your character is concerned, you are just there for a fun weekend, to catch up with old school friends.  



YOUR CHARACTER
Please create a bio for your character, including name, gender, occupation, hobbies, and anything else you think relevant.  If you wish to add anything to your character that you want to keep secret from the others, you can tell me this via pm.  

I may assign you special roles \ tasks via pm.  If this happens, please do not reveal this to the other 'guests'.  You can lie to the other guests as much as you want - after all, you haven't seen these people for 10 years.  They don't know what you've been up to in that time.  



UM... EXTRA BITS
This is a role playing game, so please try to stay in character.  Talk to the other guests, and mingle with them.  If you have to speak out of character, please make this clear by using bold italics like this.  

This is recruitment thread, and will remain open for a few days to give everyone a chance to join in.  I would like at least 7 people to participate, but the more, the merrier.  Once I think we have enough people, I will open another thread for the actual game.

I hope this all makes sense.  If there is anything you disagree with \ think we should add etc, please post here.

I'm in.

I'll be playing Ayesson Wanezski, a white man of Polish descent (he's parent's came to wherever we are (BTW, where?) before he was born, so it's more a matter of identification then any real cultural substance). 10 years ago, he used to be 5 feet 7, with dark hair, and wear T-shirts with various obscure band's names. He used to be into Biology and History, and was going to become a doctor.
Some rumors say that he has dropped out and went into theater instead (though none of you ever saw his performances). Others say that he actually went to do his final year to some neighboring big city (to be   determined when I find out where we are) and is still working there as a doctor. Whatever the case may be, he is supposedly attending the upcoming reunion.

How about England?  The mansion is located in a dark, woody area, with no other houses around (adds to the atmosphere   )

Name: Claire Sinclair
Age: (same as everybody else's - which is sort of to be expected at a reunion...)
Height: likes to think of herself as a "petite blonde", even though she's really just short, chubby and mousy-haired (but don't you dare tell her that to her face)
Location: Scunthorpe [so as to be able to protest against ridiculous censorship at every possible opportunity]

At school, Claire was notorious for protesting for and against absolutely everything and everyone. Other people thought that being both pro and anti abortion / animal rights / whale hunting etc made her look a bit inconsistent, but Claire never thought of it that way. The words "protest is not about the issue in question, it's a way of life" have been attributed to her - although if asked, she'd protest that she never uttered them.
Claire now works as a nurse for the NHS and still does a bit of protesting in her spare time. She loves embroidery and is a keen rugby player and her fiance Graham is too scared to tell her he'd rather not marry her, because she knows karate as well.
