Bumping this - the Game Discussion's non-alphabetical random ordering is really bugging me now. Is there anything that can be done?

Ah so it IS random, then. I've been desperately trying to work out a pattern.

I think a lot of them are just in the order they were created, but it makes it hard to find something, and it's only going to get worse as the section grows.

But if the game threads were arranged chronologically, Flight of the Amazon Queen couldn't be that far down the page, could it?

Up until a couple of days ago I noticed that it was pretty much in order, new games being added at the bottom, now it got all randomized and such, ah well I'm sure something will come of it.

Yes, I agree that it is kind of inconvenient... :/
I'll see if I can get it to sort alphabetically

It's adjustable by hand, but it'd be easier if it would do it on its own, and doing it by hand will be more and more work as we add titles.

Would it be possible to have the forums that were last active at the top of the list? Sort of like the arrangement of individual game threads in the game discussion section at the Abandonia forum, I mean.

not sure on that one. I've reordered them lexicographically for now, but it's gonna be a hell of a hassle to do it again if we add something near the beginning of the alphabet unless we can find a way to make it do it automatically.

Well, I suppose it'll be fine for now, but we may need a different system in the long run, as more games are added to the site and the game discussion section of the forum becomes a bit more active...
