We are currantly experiencing problems with posts in the forums.

When you make a new post, it may seem as normal to you, but then it doesn't show up in the thread index.
If you go back to the thread you just posted in, your post may or may not be visable. but it still doesn't show up in the thread index.
New posts seem to appear and disappear randomly.

Studentis has been informed of this issue, and we hope they will fix it soon.

Thankyou.

Looks like the old skin template was messing up things.

Gr8,

Had no idea there was so many places for configuration, both in db and in some 3-5 files. Sry for the misunderstanding of IPB.

There also was this big problem, the old Reloaded skin was effecting the IPB.

This is a problem with 'hard cache' on the server. We are caching everything on the client side from now on and we set a lot of cached data, such as indexed forum information. This way, we are easing the load on the database. Sorry everyone, but hit F5 OR cmd-r OR ctrl-r, to reload the site to make sure your post is up and showing. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hmm.... Attachments are not working for me... and my avatar is gone. :P

The error returned was:
Sorry, but you do not have permission to use this feature. If you are not logged in, you may do so using the form below if available.

EDIT: Uploaded my avatar to tinypic. Still can't view attachments.

I know that Frodo. I am talking about viewing OTHER users attachments. I can't see any of them. And when I try to view them, I get the permission error. :Titan:

Funny thing is that if you press reply and scroll down you will see the image attached by frodo.
I think you are not supposed to download it.
I think it's in IP bord settings admin has to change how attachments are handled.

I ll tell Robert , since I don't have admin account.

Ahh, I see what you mean.   :P

I logged out, and attachments appear as links, not pictures.  But when I click on the links, I got same error message as Nick.   :Titan:
