What kind of software do you use when you create your art?

Right now, I use Photoshop 7.0 pretty much exclusively. I haven't upgraded to the new version, because from what I understand, the only difference is the ability to transform text into shapes... which is cool, but not necessary for me at this time. Also, I use Illustrator sometimes, and InDesign as a part of the Adobe Publishing Suite.

I used to use Jasc's Paintshop Pro back in the day... I think version 5.0?

I didn't really have much love for it, although the vector-based inclusions were nifty.

And way, way back in the day, I used to use Microsoft Paint. Teehee.

That's been so long ago, I don't think I could go back to it if I tried. Thinking about doing things that way gives me a headache.  :)

A copy of PhotoShop Elements (basically a bit stripped down and with the menus confusingly rearranged) which came with my camera, because I didn't have to pay for it :)

Paint Shop Pro 5.01, but just got Photoshop 8 CS, which I'll give a try if I feel like it.

Just got photoshop 7 myself, which I consider to be much better than 8, :) but it doesn't really matter, ;) for animations I use toonboom studios.

Hmm just got Gimp and it looks pretty tricky. I´ve just been using paint to draw stuff and then converting it to .jpgs with Gimp so that they fit on the site.

Photoshop 7 and ImageReady Plus for adding animations (cause it can rip apart real movies for use in signaturtes).

i just found a new small tool...it's a 3d modeler with a twitch...you build your model by drawing it.I made a bird :).It's in a java applet, no opengl or anything and it can export the model to .obj ....too bad i can't remember the site though...
