Actually, i'd suggest Final Fantasy 6 (Known as Final Fantasy 3 here in the US) for the SNES. It has what I think to be the best story, and uses nearly the exact same graphic style structure as Endless Nova.

I agree with ya that 6 has got the best story and definitely is my fav final fantasy that I have played, 9 would prob be the best to get into to get to know the series because it's prob one of the easiest, but 6 is also a worthy choice.

What? :P FF 8? hehe I don't think so :P  to start imo try 7 or 9 those are the best to get into the series, don't try 8 it's a completely different style from the norm of the final fantasy games, try it once you get accustomed to the series.
I've only played FF7 and FF8 and I prefer FF8 to FF7.

^ FF8 is a great game with a deep and mature storyline. Both FF7 and FF8 are classics and personal favorites of mine. If you have a chance in the future check out FF6 and FF9. Those are just as good or better than 7 and 8.

I really like the setting and storyline of the FF games. I'm just not too fond of the battles...

^^ Yeah random battles do tend to get tiresome after a while. Its all good while you're leveling but later in the game when you're just trying to get around and explore it gets very annoying. You can tell that RPG producers are starting to include them less and less in their RPGs. Most newer RPGs dont have random battles.

It's not so bad in this game at least, but I agree it can get annoying when you really want to get to a boss and they like throw you into a bunch along the way, oh wells.

Nah I don't notice any issues with the fonts, since the game uses it's own font. Weird.

Agreed 6 is really one of the best of the series, my fav actually. Although I think people should try 4 to really get into the story, as it really is one of the strongest stories in the series and probably of most rpgs.

I need help.
I have read all the posts but I can't use the game. I've downloaded "RPG maker 2000" from Abandonia, but during the installation it says that it's "RTP for RPG Maker 2000". I did everything you said (install RPG maker 2000, download the game and the RPG_RT.exe file, and copy it to the game directory) but still doesn't work.
It is really the "RPG maker 2000" the file in Abandonia?
Anyone?? Please... ^_^

EDIT: Now I found the main program, RPG Maker 2000 v1.07b in another website. I've installed it, then the RTP and the game, but isn't working at all. Could be the Windows Millennium?

If you have done everything that we've told you to do, then the problem is somewhere on your machine, I'm afraid.

I don't know anything about Windows Millenium, but it should work on Win 95, 98 and XP.

Yo!
