Lucas really is a one-trick pony.. Okay, there's Indiana Jones as well, but that was a collaboration with Spielberg.  While I appreciate that Star Wars is a decent franchise, I wish they'd put more effort into diversification rather than just churning out "yet another story from the Star Wars universe."
:( Two words: Monkey Island. Not to mention the utterly brilliant Day of the Tentacle. And The Dig was a pretty decent game as well.

Anyway, let's get this back on topic, shall we? We can discuss LucasArts vs Sierra issues in a new thread in the favourite games forum if you like.

There were sequels to Full Throttle and Sam & Max in the works and they were looking really good, but the plug was pulled on them when they were almost finished.. Probably, as you say, to finance more Star Wars crap.

Now "the saga is complete" (allegedly), maybe they'll return to making more diverse stuff... We can only hope.

Probably because you're one of those awful Sierra heretics.biggrin.gif

Well... that's a point  :)

But Sierra has Leisure Suit Larry. And Lucas... they never made a sequel to Sam&Max just to get more money out of StarWars ego shooters.
Think I'll never forgive that  :(

Well, I had the same problems when I started playing ist some time ago.
Since this game is "pick of the month" on the AGS site, they maybe exceed their traffic volume  :)

I did not play more than the first screen... Would not say the game is boring, but my problem simply was lack of motivation, so it's probably just my fault  :(

So have fun!

Sorry, hfric, but that isn't really our fault. For what it's worth, the download seems to be working fine now.
