Let's create a story.
I start by typing a sentence, then someone else continues the story by typing another sentence, and so on. You can make the story as imaginative and wierd as you like, but you can only type one sentence at a time.
So are you sitting comfortably? Then let us begin.
I went to the shop this morning, to buy a newspaper.

When I arrived, I discovered to my dismay that every last newspaper had already been bought.
Today is a good day for pie.

Taking time for a quick glance around me, I noticed that nobody else was reading or carying a newspaper either.

I succeeded.
The End.
Seriously, why can story-telling threads never seem to last for more than five posts without someone trying to make the story unreel completely? It may seem like a funny thing to do at the time, but ultimately it just ruins the game. I don't see the bloody point in it.

I wondered the very same russ... Well, even AJ can't be perfect all the time. And she kind of has a point, these usually end before really starting, but I believe it is because those willing to take part are separated into three categories: those who want to make a real story; those who want to make a joke of it; and those who can continue it no matter where it goes. first two ones get bored to it if it doesn't go the way they like it, and as the last is the rarest, it requires a lot more population than us five active ones.
Anyways, as I bothered posting here, let's continue it:
My friend rushed to find a flashlight, because he was afraid of the dark.
