Have you ever heard the German lyrics to that one? They're basically the same, but for some reason the names are different:

There might be a couple more verses, actually, but I don't remember them. I used to love pirate songs when I was younger and was terribly disappointed when I realised that the necessity of being a bearded man would bar me from that profession forever.

didnt turn out to good because:

1. the microphone is junk
2. its 22khz
3. its freestyled
4. i guess i just suck today

i got a little carried away there at the end which i tend to do pretty often... the sound of relief at the end is funny though

its really not that good... its kinda off beat sometimes. but it sounds better after a couple times hearing it strangly enough.

but thanks for the props @all. you have officialy raised my self confidence in this respect.

and to all who have posted a song here... respect   i couldn't (and wont do it... i recorded my singing today and its MUCH worse than i even thought...)

when i get a good mic ill record a new one... if i can get my friend to let me use his studio i can prob do something pretty cool.

Yeah sounds good man, see ya gave it a shot good for ya. Yeah I understand what ya mean, honestly wouldn't do some of the tracks if it wasn't for someone convincing me to do so, but I'll never tell. Indeed I need a better mic, or a headset something better I agree and some sound editing programs, good ol reverb what makes the career of so many artists today. Well least here in North America.

Revival

This song was stuck in my head today, so I decided to record it. It's an interesting song, and the intro song to an excellent anime, serial experiments: lain.

There's a little voice crackage, and I didn't give myself enough time to record all of it, so it just cuts off at the end, but I'm being lazy, so no re-record
