There's too many excellent bands to actually know even percent of them. Possibly I now give shot to Queensryche if I ever happen to get a chance.

Yeah I'm just jostling everyone about that. ;) But yes trust me on Queensryche great band, there early stuff though is the stuff to go for, once you get past Hear in the Now Frontier it kinda goes downhill for them. :)

Well, in a way interesting band, but I've never quite understood the idea of 'look bad, sing pop'. Ok, exaggerated and alot, but you get the point. Anyways I'm going to look a little bit more about them, but nowadays I still end up taking new bands with much harder stuff to my list what I listen. But I still listen Deep Purple and such stuff, so this might end up for at least temporarily to my list.

Edit: Listening Hostage at the moment and sounds like they've taken steps toward Iron Maiden. But they don't reach Maiden's level.

Hehe yeah well technically if your going to throw Queensryche into a genre they fall into the prog metal part of it, whoa listening to hostage eh, that's their latest stuff, if you want to get into queensryche get the cd's operation mindcrime, empire, those 2 are two of their best imo, and if you like those EP, The Warning, Rage for Order, Promised Land are also wicked to the extreme. they definitely have an influence with British Metal like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, (heck they even toured with Iron Maiden in the 80's, Metallica, AC/DC, Kiss)

Personally I didn't like Hostage as much as I'm American, which honestly sounds like their old selves, especially Tate who's gotten his voice back when that was recorded, since he kinda lost it by the time they released Hear in the now frontier in 97. Although picked up that album yesterday and it's not bad, first time through liked like maybe a couple of their songs, changed up their style with their music, but second time round I'm enjoying it. :)

DD, I went to their homepages and begun to listen from their early production, continuing to more modern. That's why Hostage was mentioned in the edit and not the in the original post.

Yes I know you went to the homepage dude  Because you mentioned that song hostage and the homepage is the only place they have put up that song, well it's technically a bootleg from one of their shows, but whatever it's all good.

Good to see all the mentions of Queensryche here, they are one of the most underrated metal bands. Operation: Mindcrime and Rage for Order are just incredible metal albums. Wanna try to get into them? Their Empire album is the BEST place to start.

Since it's the one that got them the major exposure and I think it's their best selling one too, lots of good tracks on Empire for sure.
