The 2*2 puzzle feature is reminisceant of the game, keep thinking Super Puzzle Fighter, but I don't think that was the first game to use the feature, try the one screen mode where you can play with the AI or even someone if ya itching for something close to just playing alone in a way.

Believe me, I know it's reminisceant of the game. But I know it wasn't in Columns. I could go boot it up on my Sega to and take a picture to prove it.
And I know you can play with AI or someone else. I want to be able to play by myself. No AI, no other person. I'm not saying make it one big game screen. Just make it so the AI is inactive. That would make it more like the real game.

Think ya misunderstood, didn't say it was reminisceant of columns the 2*2 feature, but by Super Puzzle Fighter.
I just wasn't sure if that was the first game to utilize the feature.
