looks like really high quality freeware, although the website looks a little suspicious, their games are hosted on sites like fileplanet, so I bet it's safe

edit: according to the site freespace 2 is freeware, anyone else heard this?

I haven't been to the site yet, but I have heard from some sites that freespace 2 is free, and I've heard from some sites that it is not :/

Well according to the Freespace 2 homepage, it's not free. You can download a demo only.

P.S. They insist on telling you it's spyware and adware free. Along with user testimonials. This doesn't really make for a good appearance because from what I've seen a lot of bogus websites do this. Also I know my little brother had a demo of a game on their website that goes by the name of Onslaught yet it says it's a free full version download. Use caution.
