Okay here's a few tips.
Get a stock of 6 or more Mends whenever you can (at least for the beginning). It's really helpful because you'll probably never have to use an inn.
Get Outsider as well if you just want someone to whack out the enemies easily for awhile. His accuracy rate is pretty poor though (when I used him) so I wouldn't recommend using him for long.
Keep someone in your party (or entourage) with Scan. It made it a lot easier for me with the bosses.
Might not be a bad idea to have someone with Steal too. Some of the armor you can steal occasionally is as good as what you can buy in a shop. Plus of course you can sell what you steal (although actually I just did more grinding than necessary in order to get money).
Glad you like the game Nick! Hope this review plays the piper for more people who might not have tried it. When I heard of it, despite enjoying Last Scenario, I didn't try Exit Fate at first because I wasn't sure I liked the graphics. That was pretty unfair and silly of me though, so I four months after it came out I thought I'd give it chance.
Finally thanks again Frodo getting the review up and putting the We Need Reviews thing on the News column. I'd never checked this forum before and possibly wouldn't have if it wasn't for that.

This looks impressive. Especially the character portraits. You are quite an artist! I hope it will play on my Linux 64Bit system...
SCF made the game. But I have made games with RPG Maker 2003, and I'm glad to say that the games made with it, run great under WINE. You might need to try different versions of WINE though.

Hi,
really like the game and have played it for many hours now. Great artwork! But I have a problem: yesterday while playing, my AntiVir popped up and reported a virus in the game.exe (BDS/Bot.118128). After checking the system and re-downloading the game, the message still comes. Does anyone have the same experience? I don't want to spread a panic, maybe my PC is just messed up. Could someone check their files and report?

Hey Nick,
thanks very much! Googling that particular bot turns up some more info about this problem. Anyway, couldn't hurt to have it addressed in this thread, right? Sounds like AntiVir just doesn't like RPGMaker or something.. Gonna dl the game again and continue

Alright, good to hear.
I actually know the engine behind Exit Fate. It's called RPG Maker. And yes, sometimes the Game.EXE can set off red flags for antivirus programs. Often the game.exe could be replaced with someone else's version, or the game can run fine with the current one.
