Desserts...

I once made a carrot cake with my sister. Then my boyfriend came when we had just put it in the oven. He was too afraid of trying it, but he helped us with the cream :)
He's MUCH better cook than I am.

Anyways, the carrot cake was good! Not good looking, but nice tasting.

There's nothing I enjoy more than a properly made salad. That I can do for myself. And some piece of meat too, which is always a nice addition.

But just what do you put in your salad?

I generally use:
- raw vegetables (letuce, tomatoes, paprika, cucumbers,...)
- coocked vegetables (peas, beans, colyflower, corn,...)
- fried vegetables (onions, garilck, zookeeny *spelling*, paprika again,...)
- meat (usually chicken, pork works too, or fish)
- additives (vinegar, salt, pumpkin oil)

I use the term "salad" for raw vegetables, usually (although I'm aware that the term is more vast). Cooked vegetables are usually done by myself in large dishes so I have enough for several days.

To answer your question, Puf... Yes.

Yes, I can cook. I can even make roses out of tomoatoes and butterflies out of chillies ;)

My favourite type is wok-food. Especially whenever I can find some good shrimps and prawns.

Other than that, I love soup. Especially the thick and creamy ones :)

I'm a basic cook. I can cook pasta, rice, fry potatos and meat etc. No instant stuff mind you, because that just doesn't taste very good (instant rice yech).

Pesto is very handy I agree. I'm not good (lazy) at experimenting with herbs, so most my sauces are from ready-made little bags.

I never cook by recipee, but if it's not too fancy I can do it.

Pesto is very handy if you're in a hurry, just cook some pasta, grab some pesto (one you've made in advance yourself or bought) and some oliveoil, throw in some sundried tomatoes and voilà: instant italian pastadish.

Yeah, I can cook.. I do most of it in our house.

Not really much of a fancy chef though. Whatever's left in the cupboards and fridge just always seems to go together, but everyone always tells me it's good.

My best dish woul dprobably have to be stir-fry, but I have to admit that it's probably the easiets thing in the world to make though. :)

That explains the déjà vu feeling I had when I read your post.

@UH: And baking it all by yourself? Well, guess you'll have to invite me sometimes...  :)
