I was wondering..

What is the favourite thing you cook for yourselves or other?
Any recipies?

I'm a BAD chef. I can make good Subways, and good pasta.
My "speciality" is pasta with pesto and feta :)
It's easy to make, quick and (in my opinion) tasty. I haven't had anybody trying it, my sister was too afraid of the green pesto... But I like it ;)

So... what do you cook?
And ordering pizza does not count ;)

I can make a mozarella appetizer: slices of mozarella on half a tomato served with some salade, paprika and pizza-herbs, and a small dash of olive oil.

I like to experiment a lot. Imagine pork with pine-apples, sweat peas, horse radish, rise, paprika, butter and bechamel souce?
It's  :)
Actually I like to be around the stove (it shows on my not anymore) boyish figure. I just don't like to bake things (like cakes and stuff). But when it comes to cooking or frying - I'm the one!

I can cook various stuff, from pasta to meat and some condiments...Potatoes, carrots, basically any kind of veggie. Rice as well, and some sweet thingies. And I am one of the grill veterans at the local fair.

I'm quite decent at making cocktails, that is, preparing very alcoholic potions that are still enjoyable to drink.

I know how to cook a hot-dog...

Errrm but that's not it...

DakaSha:if you go into a kindergarden and give all the kids rubber schlongs they will prob just hit each other over the head with them
DakaSha:and you have a class of little kids hitting eachother with rubber dongs which must be quite funny (also Picklweasel knight I am)

I make mean enchiladas, if I do say so myself, and I can follow a recipe, but I'm not the best cook by any means!

I love to cook.

Generally, I like to cook gourmet-style dishes when I do cook. I like to make the pretty presentation and weird flavors.

A few family favorites:

Seared salmon and shallots in wine sauce served on baby spinach...

Shrimp stroganoff

I don't know what to call them, but I also make these things like savory pasties, basically, meat and veggies wrapped up in dough and baked.

Feta cheese balls wrapped in dough and baked (very quick and easy, and yummy)

Southern style dishes, too.

And also, I do make sushi  :)

I don't cook very often, though... no point when it's usually just yourself that's eating, hehe.

Edit: Here is a picture of some torte-like things I made. One is chocolate with strawberries, and one is cinnamon with apples  ;)

Oh I can make dessert dishes.
Flan-caramel, pudding, cake.
But I rarely do that since I can't stand the stuff myself (except for flan... which is difficult to make)

However, while I can't cook per se, I can think up pretty nice recipes or what goes well with what. It's like knowing which colours match togethen... but not being able to paint.

does boiling eggs count? :)

My spaghetti with tunafish and chilli pepper is said to be quite tasty but sometimes a bit hot though...
