This game and the Warband expansion are very cool. I partly say that because I code mods for it, but it has a very unique gameplay style. The graphics and sounds are outdated, performance is less than par, but the gameplay and lasting appeal outweighs those. This has one of the largest modding communities of any game that I have seen.

If anyone is interested they should look here: www.taleworlds.com

Also, you can find the mod I am currently working on here: forums.taleworlds.com

I've played it (Thanks to forum member El Quia for telling me about it). It's a fun game. I love the ability to play for free, then buy the game if you want later on. :ok:

Recently I have seen several indie games using that technique.

It's profitable. Prevents piracy from the get-go, and allows people to play the game, then decide if they want to buy it. Much better than the old "free trial" scheme. :ok:

I have created the framework to allow for machine guns and the like to be used in modern and futuristic mods. http://forums.talewo...c,144557.0.html

Also, I am assisting with this mod: http://www.moddb.com/mods/hiridia
