John: I fear defeating Sumonsar would be impossible. And no... I'm not worth saving. Sumonsar captured me to keep my silence. He didn't want me to warn the world of the upcoming event...

You're my dad... you *are* worth saving. There is a ritual that can defeat Summonsar, but I need your help and Des's help.

[Nick]

Desmond: Listen... you do not understand. John and I did the research. Sumonsar is going to start... a new earth. However, we can possibly save ourselves, and others... before the.. *suddenly, Desmond is interrupted by a loud siren.*

*A female computer voice starts counting down, while the siren continues to roar.*

That... thing is going to slaughter billions of innocent lives.  We have to stop it.  We have to do the ritual... *now*

Desmond: Who was doing the ritual?

John: Let me guess... my friend Franco. Where is he now?

[Frodo]

I don't know.  He was left behind when I was brought here.  Now are you gonna help me or not?

[Nick]

John: There are no guarantees...
Desmond: But it's worth a shot. We need to find a way out of here.

Peek up through grates, to see if the coast is clear.

*You notice that the guards have disappeared.*

Head left to the exit sign.

*As you walk down the hall way, you notice large doors leading outside*

*Desmond walks up to the doors (which are operated by a computer control panel), and places his hand on the panel.*

Computer: DNA Scan accepted. You may now exit The Depths. Take care.
*The doors swing open... revealing the wasteland outside*

John: Mother of god..

(the sun... it burns...   )

Dad, we can put a stop to this destruction.  We have to do the ritual NOW.  C'mon, we don't have much time left.  
*lie down on the ground*
