Replying to Tux Racer

The funny thing about Tux Racer is that it went commercial, but the old version and source code still exist though. Explaines why it wasn't developed further since 2001. Well it was, kinda.

But there is a modification available of the old Tux Racer based on the source code. It can be found here. It has more tracks, features some (proper!!) translations and some other new options I think.
Only the writing on the title screen isn't so beautiful anymore like in the original version.

Could the review get edited so that the PPRacer version gets mentioned?

Thought it was decent...Lacks any real goals or motives though for me to want to play for an extended period of time.  I know there was a flash game out there where you had to battle off other penguins down the hill   I'll need to look around for it...I think it was part of the Yeti Olympics series which is very, very popular.

EDIT :: Found it http://www.yetisports.org/ is the site, recently changed so you need to register to play the games (Free, and no spam email I do believe) but they are classics.  Yeti Snowboarding is the one I mentioned
