Replying to Heroquest

I like this game, but the boardgame is better and Warhammer Quest is better than that

I'm a little surprised the Games Workshop hasn't cracked down on this guy. They went after the guy who was making the Space Hulk game and so he changed the name to Alien Assault. It's still a great game and imo, it's still Space Hulk.

GW is too sue happy with any fan made projects. It looked like fummbl was going to be taken down as well, but they just got rid of the java client download. You can still play there you just can't get the Java download anymore. I sorta understand going after them because of the official Blood Bowl game being released, but getting all "CEASE AND DESIST" with Space Hulk was just wrong.

I don't think Magic was implemented in that version

Welcome AmazingJas. I just took a short visit to your site and I have to say I'm impressed! I have to try some of your remakes.

Hi guys. I tried this HQ game a while back and it really intrigued me. So much so that I started creating my own remake. It's reasonably similar in terms of gameplay but I've got lots of smooth scrolling, and nice smooth character animations.

Interesting remake, but now that I got some time to finnaly try it I am really disapointed by the fact it's still only a beta...

Fun little game so odd moments, but still a fun play I had with this one.

To the game : It's quite unbalanced. Gather some (more) weapon and armor upgrades to become invincible. I remember there was a limitation in the table top game.
And I never got to know how to cast spells, but it was some time ago I spent some nights with this fine game  
Maybe they've already fixed all this...
