Drunk badger disrupts traffic

Quote

A motorist called police near the central town of Goslar to report a dead badger on a road -- only for officers to turn up and discover the animal alive and well, but drunk.

Police discovered the nocturnal beast had eaten cherries from a nearby tree which had turned to alcohol and given the badger diarrhoea.

Having failed to scare the animal away, officers eventually chased it from the road with a broom.

Al-Qaeda's terrifying vision of a devastated America in the wake of a nuclear attack

Quote

U.S. analysts said a lot of effort had been put into the video - entitled Nuclear Jihad, The Ultimate Terror - with graphics, music, and clips of different leaders and groups.

The same expertise seems to have gone into creating this image of a devastated Washington.

Rather, "Bethesda Softworks' terrifying vision of a real Fallout sequel" :D
Perhaps it's the next level in viral advertisement? :P

One thing this does prove is that nobody really cares to check up where the actual images come from... or even bother to look whether it's really a CG image.
Of course, 'fact checking' is always a bit much to expect from tabloids :ok:

Al-Qaeda urges use of WMD
Hmm, that 'CG image' looks awfully familiar...

(Admittedly, this is funny purely for the bizarre headline, so I won't give it away)
