Drunk badger disrupts traffic
Quote
A motorist called police near the central town of Goslar to report a dead badger on a road -- only for officers to turn up and discover the animal alive and well, but drunk.
Police discovered the nocturnal beast had eaten cherries from a nearby tree which had turned to alcohol and given the badger diarrhoea.
Having failed to scare the animal away, officers eventually chased it from the road with a broom.

This is starting to get really, really silly
Al-Qaeda's terrifying vision of a devastated America in the wake of a nuclear attack
Rather, "Bethesda Softworks' terrifying vision of a real Fallout sequel"
Perhaps it's the next level in viral advertisement?
One thing this does prove is that nobody really cares to check up where the actual images come from... or even bother to look whether it's really a CG image.
Of course, 'fact checking' is always a bit much to expect from tabloids

U.S. analysts said a lot of effort had been put into the video - entitled Nuclear Jihad, The Ultimate Terror - with graphics, music, and clips of different leaders and groups.
The same expertise seems to have gone into creating this image of a devastated Washington.
