uh so your saying that abandonia has a bootdisk thingy that will allow me to play all my old games!?

link! (well ill look for it but if anybody happens to know exactly where it is youd spare me some energy that would be put better to use for games :P)

The Abandonia boot disk's for getting into Dos mode with soundblasters and CD-Rom enabled, which isn't that easy to do. Soundblasters're hell to get to work in Dos, because the IRQ and DMA can differ from system to system, and a distributed boot disk has to take that into account.

I think it's a fair project, trying to make such a boot disk. I'd help out on it, but dunno how (nor do I have the time, I'm afraid)

Errm making a boot disk is easy  :P

DOS \ Win95\98:

( make a clean floppy using format []:P  [use your floppy drive letter]
Then just type ( sys [] ) [use floppy drive letter]

Then change as needed :P

i actually think the ideas good because alot of people dont know how to make a bootdisk...
