Well, I played through it now, with a help of a walkthrough, because I felt so bored that I couldn't stand it  to think only a minutew about a puzzle. I tried at the beginning to solve it properly, though. But after I haven't found any malt and when I found out how it was to get I just didn't care anymore. I think 3.5 is much too good for this game. I big letdown in the series.
But I started up the third one directly after I solved this one. And the difference....like day and night, really! The graphics, while not amzing, do a solid enough job to immerse in the atmosphere. The music doesn't bother anymore, it's....atmospheric, yeah! And nice storytelling all the way! I think this could be one of my favourite games of all time! :)
Just wanted wanted to add some of my thoughts...

I'll see what MrBackAlleySka says and raise the next person who chooses to rant a warn.

... and that goes for the next person who resorts to name-calling to get his/her points across (in any thread) as well.

Okok..Settle and chill guys. LOTS and LOTS of people love adventure games, so this site having a lot of adventure games means it appeals to a mass quantity of people. Plus the all-around AMOUNT of freeware adventure games far outcounts the amount of other types of freeware games. People love these games, they are excellent. I do NOT like a lot of adventure games. (Discworld, Hugo games, and text based adventure games excluded) but that dosen't mean I have a right to personally rant on my dislike for these games. SURE, I KNOW im sounding mean to those that wish to openly and freely speak their mind that they think this site is getting worse and worse with so many adventure games, but it isn't fair to spoil others that are new, just wetting their feet with these games and see ":) these adventure games are just crap. Pixel hunding, mindless clickfests".

It's not fair.  I also sincerely apoligise for posting when I have nothing to say about Ben Jordan 2, but hopefully people will hush and stick to the tpoic...

If an adventure game rant is needed, we can start a new topic somewhere else.

I've lost count of all the games I've reviewed that are still awaiting update.  And who are you to boss me around?  Just the resident Abandonia suck-up and grammar god.  I lost VIP status (which itself is just a load of crap, so I don't miss it anyway) because I, a simple peasent, dared challenge your divine corrections of one of my reviews.

This thread is for discussing this particualr game, not the fact that you don't like adventure games. If you want to see more non-adventures on the site, then get on with finding, reviewing and screenshotting them instead of moaning.

Because it's the new one, you simple-minded fool.

This site should be renamed Abandonia Adventures because of all the adventure games.  What does Abandonia Reloaded mean, anyway?  Why "Reloaded?"

The third one is a lot better as is the fourth. Eagerly awaiting the fifth one. ^^

I can see why they're fairly popular, too: they don't require a lot of thinking, just a good eye to pick out odd pixels and a mind like a thesaurus.

Can't wait to see Megamek review. Screenshots alone are a turnoff, but reviews usually sweet me over. Heh, but i'm with ya. Enough adventure games. Though I can see they are fairly easy to make, so I can see why there'd be a lot of freeware ones.
