#26496 Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory

Posted by mades on 20 April 2006 - 11:01 PM in Games on Reloaded

I'll be doing that then, I'll edit this post later on.

EDIT 1: Downloading 20 mb or so. :ok:

EDIT 2: Mmm, it said that the software I'm currently trying to install "has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP". And it also said that it could destabilise or impair the system either now or in the future.  :( Now THAT would suck. Methinks asking my pc guys at the store would be safer than me going forward with it (?) since they've been fixing my pc for years now; without any complaints on our side. Well, I need to get more rams anyway, I could ask them then I suppose, since they have installed some things on my pc. So, maybe they are some things on my pc that I don't know about by heart.

(I have Windows XP)

I did actually, but these were the only drivers they were offering:

1: GeForce and TNT2
2: GeForce Go 7800 GTX
3: Quadro
4: Riva 128 / 128128 ZX

For GeForce and TNT2, it had the following note (amongst others):
"""Adds support for GeForce 7900 GTX, GeForce 7900 GT, and GeForce 7600 GT"""

And for GeForce Go 7800 GTX, it had the following note (amongst others):
"""ForceWare driver that supports Mobile GPUs. This driver only supports GeForce Go 7800 GTX GPUs from the manufactures listed above."""

I have no idea if any of these 2 are right, since I have nVidia's GeForce2 MX/MX 400
The problem is that their customer support doesn't work
I get one of those pages which says either that the page doesn't exist or whatever.

The site I went to was this one http://www.nvidia.co...ers/drivers.asp

nVidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400

Would that be the graphics card?

Thanks. I'll try that.

EDIT: It might be the driver apparently which doesn't support OpenGL

It's too late now to do anything. I'm sooooooooooo tired. I'll try installing the new driver tomorrow.

EDIT 2: Nevermind that, I tried it tonight... but I have a different version than any of their drivers. I need a diskette or something. Unless I just ask my pc repair guy to install the latest drivers.

"""* Windows XP Users:
Please note that the default drivers that come with Windows XP are NOT OpenGL compatible. You will need to go to the video card or video chip manufacturer and obtain the latest Windows XP compatible drivers with OpenGL support. This is especially true for ATi and nVidia based video cards."""

Noooooooooooooooo! LOL

I found all the needed info here:

https://activision.c...li=&p_topview=1

I can't even email them... it brings me to some stupid 404 page (or something similar) Oh yeah, nVidia that is.

EDIT by Beef: Removed doublepost, avatar and signature. Please try to stick to the forum rules.
