In 2001, a maniacal German by the name of Sascha Borisow began the illustrious task of scripting a new story for an old favorite, and thus, LucasFan Games was born. The company made its premiere on the freeware scene with the release of The New Adventures of Zak McKraken in March of 2002, and followed up in spectacular fashion with the release of Maniac Mansion Deluxe in May of 2004.
